Germany's first democratic republic, established after WWI and the November Revolution of 1918. Plagued from birth by hyperinflation, the Dolchstoß myth, elite overproduction, and the Great Depression, it collapsed under the weight of structural-demographic stress and extremist pressure — ending with Hitler's appointment as Chancellor on 30 January 1933.
